Operation Christmas Child demonstrates God’s love in a tangible way to children in need around the world. Through this project, Samaritan’s Purse partners with the local church worldwide to share the Good News of Jesus Christ and make disciples of the nations.

Since 1993, more than 244 million children in more than 175 countries and territories have received an Operation Christmas Child shoebox filled with toys, school supplies, and hygiene items. The project delivers not only the joy of what, for many kids, is their first gift ever, but also gives them a tangible expression of God's love and a gospel presentation.

It doesn’t stop with the shoebox gift. The Greatest Journey, a follow-up discipleship course, is available, and 52 million children have participated in this 12–lesson program on how to follow Christ and share Him with others.

You can support Operation Christmas Child by placing your Mission Love Offering in the special envelopes found in the pew racks and on the ushers’ table.
